How to compare ABA jobs in Texas

Choose a metro area before comparing offers

Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio are separate location searches. Within each metro area, request the actual clinic address or service radius. A Texas-wide advertisement does not promise an assignment near your home.

Clarify metropolitan-area postings

A role labeled Dallas Metropolitan Area may cover one clinic, several sites or home-based clients. Ask the recruiter to identify the initial assignment and whether you can choose a service area. Confirm travel expectations before accepting an interview schedule that assumes broad availability.

Ask what begins on the start date

For technician work, separate paid training from the first client assignment and ask when the advertised hours become available. For BCBA work, clarify the initial caseload, staffing support, supervision responsibilities and time allocated to documentation.

Applying and checking availability

Use “Apply on employer website” to open the original posting and submit your application there. Find A Para does not receive your application, and the employer decides eligibility and hiring.

The date on each card is our source-check date, not the date the employer first posted the job. References are hidden seven days after their last check unless refreshed. An employer can close an opening sooner; report a closed listing if you find one.
