How to compare ABA jobs in Florida

Search the exact service area

An opening in Orange Park, Gainesville, Ormond Beach or New Port Richey is a local search, even when the employer hires throughout Florida. Confirm the clinic address or home-service radius and whether you would be assigned to more than one location.

Check clinic hours and client availability

For RBT and behavior technician work, ask whether the advertised schedule is available now, which hours are paid and what happens when a session is cancelled. Compare those terms with the actual location before prioritizing the highest advertised hourly rate.

Clarify multi-location BCBA responsibilities

Ask how many sites, clients and technicians the specific Florida role covers. Request the expected weekly travel, billable workload and documentation time. A regional employer name or a statewide advertisement does not establish the workload of one position.

Applying and checking availability

Use “Apply on employer website” to open the original posting and submit your application there. Find A Para does not receive your application, and the employer decides eligibility and hiring.

The date on each card is our source-check date, not the date the employer first posted the job. References are hidden seven days after their last check unless refreshed. An employer can close an opening sooner; report a closed listing if you find one.
