LBAPS seeks a Program Director to lead growth and external operations for a DOE-funded special education program. It serves students with autism and ADHD in general-education settings at private schools, with BCBA-driven instruction and behavior support. This full-time position is in Brooklyn, NY; published pay is $60–$75 per hour, negotiable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting, marketing and enrollment growth.
  • Represent the program at IEP meetings, due-process and impartial hearings; testify when needed.
  • Coordinate with parents, schools, districts, evaluators, service agencies, counsel and funding sources.
  • Own intake, enrollment, scheduling, data collection, documentation, billing and reporting systems.
  • Select and maintain practice-management, data, CRM, HR and document-storage platforms; train staff to use them consistently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; a relevant master's preferred.
  • 3–5+ years in leadership, business development or program administration, ideally in special education, ABA or human services.
  • Knowledge of IEP/IESP processes, DOE funding, hearings and special education regulations.
  • Success in recruitment, enrollment or marketing; experience managing operational systems.
  • Willingness to testify; hearing/deposition experience is a plus.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills, comfort reviewing clinical and educational records, and credibility with families, administrators and attorneys.

Compensation and working arrangements

  • $60–$75 per hour, negotiable; full-time in Brooklyn, NY.
