Responsibilities
- Advocate for mandated services and prepare or review legal documents, appeals and correspondence.
- Research ABA, special education and disability-service laws and policies; support compliance and policy documentation.
- Manage case files, deadlines, correspondence and follow-through on open matters.
- Coordinate with insurers, government agencies and outside legal counsel.
Qualifications
- Legal experience or coursework is required; law school enrollment is a plus.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, ABA, special education and disability-rights law.
- Exceptional accuracy, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and strong written and verbal communication.
- Commitment to children and families with special needs; proficiency with legal research tools and Microsoft Office.

- Full-time and in-office in Brooklyn, NY.
